You can hire someone to make it aesthetically pleasing, or hire someone to write content, but ultimately how you USE the site will be what makes or breaks your success.
The first tip that we want to share is about one of the most important features offered is the “Coming Soon” Pages.
Did you know that Zillow, Realor.com, Trulia, etc. all feed into your Multiple Listing System (MLS)? If the property goes on the market first, and those sites pick it up, then the Google algorithm will credit the big names with having the content first. This is so important. The Google algorithm is what ranks your website/pages in search results. You want to have YOUR content indexed first to rank higher in search results.
By simply creating a Coming Soon page before you enter your listing in the MLS, this will improve your website/pages #SEO. Not only is your website going to have fresh original content before the other big names, but it gives you a chance to market your website on Instagram and Facebook Ads with information no other site has. Coming Soon pages provide a landing page for your latest listing for advertisement. If you have a listing that needs to hit the #market fast, then don’t worry! Even creating a Coming Soon page 10-15 min before the listing is entered into the MLS will allow your page to index with Google first.
